SUMMARY:DA-YPC: Networking 101 Workshop
DESCRIPTION: \n  \nDeviceAlliance’s newly formed Young Professionals Committee (DA-YPC) will hold it’s 2nd event Saturday\, August 25th at 4PM PST for DA-YPC members to meet one another\, learn about each others backgrounds and careers while beginning to build out a pathway for career progression and success. \nEVENT WORKSHOP: \nThis event will combine general networking and getting to know other YPC members with a keynote speaker discussion and workshop surrounding ‘Professional Networking How-To’s’.  During this event we will learn how to network in a professional setting\, including: \n\nWhy professional networking is important\nBuilding relationships for the long game\nHow to network and create value in your professional relationships\nLearning how to introduce yourself\, eye contact and hand shaking\nEngaging with strangers at events and carrying conversations\nLearning how to be curious\, the art of asking good questions\nWhat happens when you don’t network\n\nThis event is a private\, closed door meeting.  Non-DeviceAlliance members or those who do not meet DA-YPC eligibility are unable to attend at this time.  If you’re interested in joining DeviceAlliance and or DeviceAlliance’s Young Professional Committee (YPC) please go to https://www.devicealliance.org/young-professionals-committee/ \n  \nABOUT DA-YPC: \nDeviceAlliance’s Young Professional Committee’s mission is to be the one-stop-shop for students and young professionals (undergraduate students to the age of 29) within Orange County’s medical device community seeking career guidance and development\, mentorship and industry insight.
