Membership CommitteeDeviceAlliance depends on the Membership Committee to target, attract and retain experienced, southern California medical device professionals – mid-level and senior managers, directors, VPs and C-level executives – employed by medical and dental device companies. The Membership Committee is responsible for growing the core membership of our organization. If you have great connections within southern California medical device companies – or are eager to reach out to professionals within these companies on behalf of DeviceAlliance, we would welcome your involvement on this important committee. DeviceAlliance events are designed to be interesting and interactive while maintaining broad appeal for southern California’s medical device leaders. There are seven planned educational programs in 2011 and more in 2012 that will be part of this year’s planning. DeviceAlliance events often include multiple panelists. This means we need committee members that are well connected within the device world and eager to help in the planning and development of interesting and relevant programs. Our 2011 event topics include strategic alliances, leadership, industry trends, regional success stories, updates on key markets, regulatory news and wireless medical devices. Additionally, several business mixers are planned by this committee enabling casual and engaging opportunities to connect with the community. Sponsorship CommitteeDeviceAlliance’s corporate community outreach begins with the Sponsors Committee, comprised of a team of medical device professionals crossing a broad range of backgrounds. The committee strives to connect with companies that serve the medical device industry to help fund DeviceAlliance programs. In exchange for sponsorship, those organizations are provide an opportunity to build relationships with the organization’s membership and participate in and influence DeviceAlliance’s events. Corporate sponsorship is focused on an array of industries such as banking and finance, contract manufacturing and engineering, legal, marketing and recruitment. Sponsors make it possible for DeviceAlliance to continue providing innovative programs and events while growing its member footprint in the southern California market.. Marketing CommitteeThe Marketing Committee has responsibility for the branding, marketing communications, and website content development of DeviceAlliance. In consort with all other committees, who maintain responsibility for the strategy and execution of their respective initiatives, the Marketing team supports their efforts to create the internal and outgoing messaging and to maintain brand consistency across the organization. Creative members with experience in marketing strategy and communications (including PR), who are willing to roll up their sleeves to participate, are encouraged to join this very busy and impactful team! . Website CommitteeThe DeviceAlliance Website is the hub of its communication activity and our objective is to make the site dynamic and relevant. With help from the Marketing Committee, the Website Team is responsible for its design content and feature development. This requires the support of members with web skills of varying levels and interest, including expertise in WordPress, social marketing and general web savvy, to explore content expansion that will interest members across a variety of functions. Creative members with experience in website management and development, and who can commit to participation, will be welcomed on this active team. . Finance CommitteeThe Finance Committee is charged with coordinating the annual budget process, collection of revenues, control of disbursements, managing our banking and processing relationships, maintaining DeviceAlliance’s financial records, dealing with regulatory requirements, and supporting and advising the other Committees on financial matters. The committee meets monthly to review ongoing results and regularly updates the Executive and other Operating Committees.
