I would like to wish everyone a happy New Year from DeviceAlliance. Our first formal year as DeviceAlliance has been a tremendous success. We kicked off 2011 with a record attendance for our first speaker event of the year formally launching our new brand and membership format. We continued our momentum throughout the year with regular monthly meetings. Our six exceptional speaker events highlighted some of the most experienced and influential professionals in their fields. Our professional mixers continue to host the highest concentration of medical device professionals with the friendliest environment in all of southern California. We are truly committed to Promoting the Vitality of the Medical Device Community.
We will kick off 2012 with two fantastic speaker events striving to find out what skills medical device leaders will need to excel in our evolving environment in addition to probing deep into what the “Strategics” will be doing to support the on-going success of our stressed emerging business climate so key to their continued growth.
Lastly, I would like to announce that we (the Executive Committee) are beginning a search for our next President. I intend to stay passionately involved with DA but new job responsibilities necessitate the opportunity to find new energy, ideas and leadership to continue DeviceAlliance on its exciting forward path. We will talk more about this at the January event but I wanted to get everyone thinking about it as soon as possible.
